She was introduced to the small screens when she joined BlackBrain Pictures' Diep City playing the role of Khelina, whom viewers learned to love for her bubbly nature. The family of actress and comedian, Lebogang "Lettie" Mpyana (34) have since confirmed her passing after a short illness. "Lebo died after a short illness. We ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers in this time of bereavement. Memorial service and funeral service details will follow," the family statement said. 

SADDENED BY HER PASSING

BlackBrain Productions has also confirmed the Limpopo-born actress' passing and expressed their sadness. "We are deeply saddened to learn about the untimely passing of talented actress, Lebogang "Lettie" Mpyana. She was known and beloved to us for her remarkable acting and comedic prowess that captured the hearts of many fans across the nation," the production said in the statement. "We remember her fondly for her captivating performance as Khelina in the show Diep City. Her talent illuminated our screens, and her presence enriched her peers on set and behind the scenes. We will forever cherish her contributions to Black Brain Pictures and the world of television. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and all who were touched by her artistry. She will be deeply missed, but her work will continue to inspire generations to come."
