He has found love again! Executive producer and shareholder at Black Brain Pictures Mandla N is off the dating market again. This, after his highly publicised divorce from actress and musician Tumi Masemola. Mandla is said to have been smitten by top five Miss South Africa 2023 contestant and creative producer Melissa Nayimuli.
DRUNK IN LOVE
A source has revealed to ZiMoja that the couple is openly dating and no longer hiding the brewing love affair that started last year. "Maybe they started dating some time ago, but they have been openly dating not hiding since November." The source reveals to ZiMoja that they have attended several events as a couple. "They are such a cute and happy couple. They were holding hands at the SAFTAs in 2023." The source says Mandla and Melissa have been attending events as a couple. "You didn't see them at the SAFTA's and the Africa Rise Film Festival together? They are so in love." The source reveals they have been talking about marriage. "Mandla is a long-term relationship guy. He was married to the Tumi and we thought he would never think of marriage again, but the relationship seems to be serious."
LOVE LIVES HERE
Born to a Ugandan father and Xhosa mother, the beauty and brains is a film and television producer. Melissa started her career as an intern on The Voice Nigeria and later moved on to work on the SABC 2 music show Stand Up SA. Not only does she also work with Mandla N but the two fell in love on set, a source tells ZiMoja. "Melissa is currently working with Mandla N on a few productions and they just have an incredibly amazing bond," the source reveals. "There is a mutual respect for work and the craft. Mandla N has been single for some time and to have a beauty with brains is truly what he deserves, especially after his divorce he deserves love."
DIVORCE
Mandla N was previously married to singer and actress Tumi Masemola who described her divorce with Mandla N as "Traumatic and I never thought I'd be where I am but it's a decision I had to make," Tumi said at the time. "There is life after a failed relationship. And life is for the living, with or without millions in the bank. Please don't ask again." Tumi and Mandla were also business partners at Black Brain Productions and formed part of a band called Gang of Instrumentals as well as parents to their one child. Tumi was slapped with an R2.2-million lawsuit by Mandla N after an alleged unlawful money withdrawal from their business account. When called for comment, Mandla N and Melissa were not available. Mandla N's public relations officer at Black Brain Pictures, Nyiko Chauke said, "Mandla only wants to be known as a great filmmaker and storyteller. The rest is part of life. I am not really involved in Mandla's love life."
