Shaun Stylist is the latest victim of road rage. The swanky dresser dodged a bullet when road rage nearly turned deadly in Fourways, Johannesburg yesterday. Real name Shaun Andile Naki, the personal stylist and close friend of Shauwn "MaMkhize" Mkhize said he believed the incident was racially motivated.
ROAD RAGE DRAMA
Shaun immediately posted a video of his car that was shot at the back of the window yesterday after the incident. In a video posted on his X page, he is seen sitting at the back of a police car, presumably going to open a case against the motorist. Speaking to ZiMoja, Shaun said he was still shaken after a white male who was driving a bakkie shot at him but fortunately missed the target and shot at his Mercedes Benz.
POLICE INVESTIGATING ATTEMPTED MURDER CASE
According to Shaun Stylist, the motorist cut into his lane while he was driving around Fourways Boulevard, in the north of Joburg. "We exchanged some words because I didn't understand why he suddenly cut in front of me," he said. He said the guy then called him a kaf***.
"I told him that as a racist, he must change and must also move on," he added. He said he continued to drive, not knowing that the motorist was still following him until he reached a red robot. "He was swearing at me and I told him to go away. That is when I heard a gunshot piercing through my window. He then sped away," said Shaun. He said he has learnt not to argue with strangers and walk away from conflict. "Take it from me, I nearly died," he said. Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi confirmed that an attempted murder case was opened yesterday for further investigations.
