Radio and TV personality Luthando 'Lootlove' Shosha recently returned to Metro FM after her hiatus from radio. She joined the afternoon drive show 'The Touch Down' with Thabo 'Tbo Touch' Molefe as co-host of the show on weekdays between 15:00 and 18:00. Loot Love will now join the long serving Tebogo 'Proverb' Thekisho as hosts of the Metro FM Music Awards.

THE BIG DAY

Taking place on Saturday, 27 April 2024 at Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga, Proverb says he looks forward to the festivities. "It is an honour to host the Metro FM Awards 2024," he says. "The SA music scene is constantly filled with rich, vibrant stories of our ever-resilient and evolving country and the nominated artists are testament to this."

THE MOTSEPE FOUNDATION BLACK CARPET

Taking over the 'Green Room' and interviewing the winners will be 5FM's Afternoon Drive presenter Zanele Potelwa and The Penthouse Sessions' Lamiez Holworthy. The 'Best Mornings' host DJ Sabby and presenter, Nomalanga Shozi ,will bring all the action from the black carpet sponsored by the Motsepe Foundation. With the theme, 'Black To The Future' the station says this year's event is a celebration of the achievements and contributions of black artists in the music industry.
