Fallen child star, Longwe Twala, will appear in the Randburg Magistrates Court tomorrow . Longwe and his brother Sello were arrested by the Douglasdale police in the north of Johannesburg after their father and veteran producer Sello Chicco Twala opened a case of theft against them.


ARRESTED


SAPS Gauteng spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo confirmed, "that a popular South African musician and producer opened a case of theft against his two sons after they allegedly stole several items from his house.The suspects who are aged 34 and 39 are expected to appear before Randburg Magistrate's Court on charges of theft," Masondo said.


CASES


Longwe, whose father confirmed he had a recurring problem with drugs allegedly broke into his father's home, stealing items of value to feed his habit. Longwe's name was also mentioned in the Senzo Meyiwa trial. The former Orlando Pirates player was killed during what was said to be a botched robbery. Senzo was shot at the home of his girlfriend at the time, Kelly Khumalo in Vosloorus. Longwe had been visiting Zandie Khumalo who is Kelly's younger sister, at the time of the shooting.
