Former Ukhozi FM presenter, Linda 'Mr Magic' Sibiya is joining Uzalo the new season. Sibiya who is a well-known media personality has a huge following, particularly in KwaZulu-Natal, where he worked for Ukhozi FM for many years.

Sibiya confirmed the news to ZiMoja and said that his first appearance will be tomorrow. He will be playing himself as a radio legend who joins K-Mash FM, the station on the soapie to revive it.

"I am so happy to join Uzalo and I will be playing myself which is something that comes natural," he said. Although he has not done much when it comes to acting, the former Ezodumo presenter says he is looking forward to the new challenge. "I have done more TV presenting than acting.I have been presenting shows since 2001," he brags.

A source close to the production says the role was created for Sibiya to add more numbers to the show. "The show is doing well already but producers want more numbers and with Linda's huge following and with someone like him on the show, he is definitely going to bring more people," the source adds. Sibiya is known for his quick wit and charming personality, which are qualities that are sure to make him a hit with Uzalo viewers. His experience as a radio presenter has also honed his skills as a storyteller, which will be a valuable asset in his new role. "I am over the moon, and I can't wait to show my other side," he said.
