Life said to be tough for actress Tebogo Thobejane in Dubai

The former Muvhango actress is said to be experiencing a tough time abroad

Former Muvhango actress Tebogo Thobejane left South Africa for a safer life in Dubai after a car she was in was sprayed bullets. But it is said that things are not as glamorous as they seem for the actress and media personality.

LIFE ABROAD IS NOT EASY FOR TEBOGO

Her social media posts are portraying her as having the time of her life abroad but according to sources close to ZiMoja she is struggling to cope with the expensive lifestyle in Dubai, where even a simple burger can cost up to R300 or more. She has been complaining about the high cost of living and how weak the South African currency is compared to the Dirham, the currency in Dubai. But recently, on her Instagram account, Tebogo shared some sizzling content from her Dubai vacation, including a video of her enjoying some time out by the pool, inspiring her fans. Tebogo previously admitted to leaving Mzansi because the clubbing scene had become hostile and the "beef and hate towards her was unbearable." Before jetting off to Dubai, Tebogo had returned to the country re-open her entertainment lounge Club X after she was travelling abroad when she became a target. "I don't know, maybe it's jealousy or the fact that I have come home to reopen the club but I am not scared. My ancestors would never fail me," she said at the time.

MIGHT COME BACK EARLIER THAN WE THINK

According to those close to her, she is in touch with reality Tebogo is considering coming back to South Africa to either hustle or get a full-time job. Her friends, however, have praised her for being a good mother and taking her role seriously. The television star refused to comment.
