DJ Sabby, real name Sabelo Mtshali is on celebratory mode after the new Metro FM lineup was announced, and for the second year running, he gets to drive the breakfast show, 'Best Mornings'. To add to that, he and his wife Lindi Serame are expecting baby number two.

HIS LOVE FOR RADIO

Since joining Metro FM in 2023 after leaving Y FM, his show has won over the hearts of many South Africans. "I believe we had a great run with the first year of the show," DJ Sabby said. "We really connected with the listeners and our offering was well received. I am truly honoured to serve the country for yet another year." This year his team plans to elevate the current experience of the show. "We want to have the country look forward to a new day." With all that radio experience, DJ Sabby has since also grown his television profile by hosting Clash Of The Choirs, alongside Bontle Modiselle, and also putting his acting talent on display on the show uBettina Wethu. 

BABY ON BOARD

In 2022, DJ Sabby and his partner Lindi Sirame got hitched after seven years of dating. He proposed to her in 2021 in a romantic garden setting in their home. "We've decided on forever. She said yes. We got married. I've always known she was the one for me and we have always had a strong bond," he shared. The couple had their first child, Nkosingiphile Orifha Mtshali in 2017. The couple is now expecting their second child and they are hoping it's a girl. "God has a way of continuously showing off. Thank you, Hlabagane Lam, for this bundle of joy. Fingers crossed it's a baby girl," Sabby adds.
