Lerato Kganyago and her husband Thamsanga 'Thami' Ndlala revealed they bought Sterland Mall in Arcadia, Pretoria, and have renamed it after the businessman.

The mall first opened its doors in 2010 and received a refurbishment of over R53 million in 2012. Not long ago, Lerato revealed she and her husband had bought several other properties as a way of investment despite the challenges they faced in 2024. "This year had a few challenges, personally… but we bought a few buildings and an entire mall in PTA!' The couple also bought an apartment block within walking distance of the Ndala Mall.

In 2022, Thami Ndlala gifted Lerato with a luxury boutique hotel 12 Hillel On Villa and Spa in Northcliff, Johannesburg. Lerato later removed herself as a member of the establishment to focus on other business ventures. While it was reported that Lerato owning the hotel was false, she clarified the matter. "We can confirm that Ms Kganyago is the owner of Amour Restaurant as well as part owner of the 12 On Hillel property. We dispel all information reported otherwise as false and malicious...,' she shared in a statement then.
