Videos of the reality star and businesswoman Christall Kay and cast members Gugu Khathi and Brinette Seopela fighting have emerged. Videos show heated arguments and catfights between the cast which is what led to the canning of season three of Real Housewives of Johannesburg.

WILD SCENE 

A former employee from Ayepyep, who released the footage to ZiMoja, said the scene was rather scary and un-ladylike. In one video, Kay is seen having a screaming match with Khathi who uses the F-word. Then Kay pushes Khathi to the couch before two females who were in the ladies' company are seen coming between them, so they don't fight. In one video clip, Kay had to be restrained by two bouncers when one woman was seen kicking her while she was sitting on the couch, she then kicked back. The fighting and screaming happened for several minutes, and Kay is seen crying while sitting on the floor after her screaming match. "I have never seen such a thing. That woman was screaming and kicking like she was being admitted to a psych hospital,' said the source.

SEASON 3 CANNED

In 2021, soon after the fight Multichoice canned season 3 of the reality show. At the time, CEO: General Entertainment at Multichoice, Nomsa Philiso confirmed the canning of the show was due to unforeseen circumstances. "M-Net confirms that season 3 of Real Housewives of Joburg' has been discontinued at this time. This is due to unforeseen circumstances experienced during the production of the show,' Philiso said at the time. Despite all this, Kay is making a comeback on TV. The controversial Kay has been shooting episodes of the Real Housewives spinoff called Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip- South Africa. Making the cast are Nkanyiso 'Laconco' Conco, Nonku WIlliams, Lethabo 'Lejoy' Mathatho, Beverly Steyn from Real Housewives of Cape Town, Liz Prins from Real Housewives of Gqeberha, Melany Viljoen from Real Housewives of Pretoria and Londie Landan. The show will be shot in Jamaica and will be aired later this year.
