Konka Soweto, a popular entertainment and lifestyle venue, has announced its closure with bittersweet sentiments. As the end of an era approaches, the management expressed their deep gratitude to the patrons who have supported them throughout the years.

EVERYONE IS INVITED TO THE FINALE 

In a statement released by the venue today, the management reflected on the journey that has led them to this point and acknowledged the role that the patrons have played in making Konka Soweto a haven of memories and shared experiences. The statement announced that "The Season Finale at Konka Soweto" will be held from the 18th of February until May 2024, inviting patrons to join them for a season of unforgettable experiences before bidding farewell to Soweto. But this is not the end for Konka. The statement went on to say that the closure of Konka Soweto marks the beginning of something special. In the summer of 2024, Konka will open its new home, promising to continue crafting experiential lifestyle and outdoor events that made them famous. In the meantime, Konka will focus on a series of events that are set to take place across South Africa and beyond. From Thaba Echo in March to Cape Town in January, the venue promises to deliver unforgettable experiences to its patrons throughout the year.
