She recently ventured into politics and merely six months after joining the Economic Freedom Fighters, the estranged wife of Abathembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo has been sworn in as a Member of Parliament. Nolubabalo 'Babsi' Mcinga, also known as Queen Khazeka is officially a member of Parliament, representing the EFF and awaits to still be sworn in.

She proudly wore her red overalls, fist in the air alongside fellow fighters, leader Julius Malema, Carl Niehaus, and Floyd Shivambu. The EFF is the fourth biggest party in Parliament. A close source to Nolubabalo says she has worked hard for her title. "Of course she deserves to be there. She embodies the spirit of Mama Winnie Madikizela Mandela, unapologetically so," the source told ZiMoja. "Change is coming, the EFF is here to make change- 30 years of democracy and she will be here to be a part of it."

Mcinga joined the EFF a few months before the elections and actively travelled across the country campaigning for the party. She has royal blood and comes from a royal family with political leaders, social activists game changers and people who died in the struggle.

With new members joining the cabinet, some old faces made a comeback. Melusi Gigaba returns to Parliament, Mmusi Maimane who was previously an MP affiliated to the DA, is now back in with his newly founded party, Build One South Africa (BOSA) party which occupies two seats. Ex-convict and now leader of the Patriotic Alliance (PA), Gayton McKenzie, has been sworn in. One hundred and fifty-nine members of the ANC were sworn in, the DA occupies 87 seats, MK has 58 seats, the EFF takes up 39 seats, IFP has 17, PA 9, VF PLUS 6, Action SA 6, ACDP, UDM, 3, ATM 2 and AL Jama 2.
