On Friday, 6 October, South Africans from different locations will come together for a peaceful march to the Pretoria High Court.
FAIR TREATMENT
The march dubbed #justiceforsenzomeyiwa is aimed at demanding justice for the late football star, Senzo Meyiwa.
According to the organiser, Sinqobile Maphisa, the march is calling for impartiality from the judge and fair treatment of all counsels.
"The demand for docket 375 to be commissioned is also on the agenda, as well as the arrest of all who were in the house at the time of Meyiwa?s murder. Additionally, the five accused in the case to be released and relevant witnesses are being requested to come forward to provide evidence that could help solve the case," reads the demands.
Maphasa asked participants to wear a Senzo Meyiwa or white t-shirt, comfortable bottoms, and tekkies.
DEMANDING ACCOUNTABILITY
The march will commence at 7 AM. "This march is a call to action for all South Africans who believe in justice and want to see the truth come to light. It is an opportunity for the public to stand up and demand accountability from those responsible for Meyiwa?s death. Let us all come together and demand justice for Senzo Meyiwa," said Maphasa.
