Controversial writer, businesswoman, social activist, and philanthropist Katleho Jacqueline "Jackie" Phamotse is under house arrest is unstoppable despite the court finding her guilty for defaming Basetsana and Romeo Khumalo. The author said she will not be gagged and is threatening to risk it all after serving her sentence.

This is after the release of part one of her new two-book series titled The Tea Merchant, which is about Cameron Coal, who battles to save his family's rooibos farm from ruin while grappling with grief and uncovering dark secrets. Jackie is under two years of house arrest and had to pay a fine of R30 000 in total or imprisonment and 16 hours a month of community service until her sentence is done. The court also instructed her to check in with a social worker for assessment, take up a life skills program and refrain from alcohol and narcotics.
FINISHING HER SENTENCE
Despite the instructions from the court, Jackie said she is waiting to finish serving her sentence and will air all dirty laundry. "Once I'm done, none of your celebrities or icons will be active online. Suddenly we are all quiet. For now, let me compile peacefully,' she said. "The list is long. The South African list will be longer, simply because you know all of them," she added. Jackie published her first book, Bare: # the Blesser's Game, and released several other books after that.
