Makhadzi said to be engaged to her businessman lover

Makhadzi and her boyfriend Lawrence Mulaudzi

Singer Makhadzi and her businessman boyfriend, Lawrence Mulaudzi, seem to have taken their relationship to the new level. ZiMoja have been reliably informed that the two love birds, who started dating last year, are engaged to be married after Mulaudzi sent a delegation to the singer's family in December to ask for her hand in marriage.

PERSONAL GROWTH

A source close to the couple says the pair wants to keep the news on the down low to avoid media attention and ruining her brand. "Her PR team is trying by all means to keep her image clean. She is mostly based in Cape Town where Mulaudzi has businesses but travels to Joburg and Limpopo when she has gigs," adds the source. According to another source, the pair is in love and Makhadzi, whose real name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, has learnt so much from Mulaudzi, from business to politics and life. The source adds that Mulaudzi, who was once embroiled in a love triangle with Makhadzi and the VhaVhenda princess Masindi Mphephu, is treating her like a princess and has shown her a different world. "She has become classier and more refined ever since meeting him.She is no longer all over the place," adds the source. It is also said that the love birds met each other's families over the festive season. "He popped the question around the festive season. He gave her a beautiful stone but we doubt she is going to rock it in public or on the engagement ring finger to avoid being asked questions" adds the source.

THEY BEEN SPOTTED IN CAPE TOWN

The former Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandela (TTM) football club owner moved to Cape Town late last year for work and the singer joined her last month. "Over the last three months, the two have seen at swanky restaurant and clubs in Cape Town in particular Ayepyep Lifestyle and Cubana where they seem to be regulars. They are really enjoying each other's company,". When called for a comment, Makhadzi laughed before hanging up the phone. Her manager Maphuti Mothapo says she has no knowledge of the singer moving to Cape Town. She says, "This is the first time I hear about this from you.". When asked about the engagement, Mothapo refused to answer. Mulaudzi could not be reached for a comment.
