The one is a controversial social media influencer, club hostess a and reality TV star. The other is a well-loved singer and dancer. Both take up space in their different industries. Last year, singer Makhadzi, real name Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona and Inno Morolong had a heated exchange of words on social media which almost turned into a physical war with the threat of physical violence. The two personalities have since kissed and made up.
CATFIGHT
Inno is no stranger to drama and public spats. She has previously gone head to head with rapper Gigi Lamayne, Cyan Boujee, Dineo Moloisane, and many others. The conflict between singer Makhadzi and Inno allegedly started on Instagram DMs and spilled over onto Live for thousands to see. Inno accused Makhadzi of owing people money for failing to appear at a paid booking, which she denied. "People are making money out of you," Inno said. "You are not even aware. Cassper Nyovest and other smart artists have their own record labels. You go and sweat and jump on stage for other people," Inno said. Makhadzi responded and accused Inno of being jealous of her talent. "Out of everything I just noticed that you are so jealous, and I don’t know for what," she says. "Nna le wena are tswane. Wena o legosha nna keseopedi (Me and you are not the same, you are a prostitute. I am a singer). Please go fight with other slay queens," Makhadzi responded.
MAKING PEACE
The two have since smoked a peace pipe and shared a video of partying together and exchanging pleasantries. They spoke about their difference and exchanged ‘I love you’s.’ Makhadzi tells ZiMoja that she is good with anyone good to her. "I don’t come for people, they come for me. I am good with anyone that is good to me. But when someone attacks me, I have to defend myself," she says. "Inno and I are good, we made peace. I am a peaceful person; I will not start a fight. All I want to do is focus on my career and my music."
