Plastic queens: Celebrities who went under the knife to get their body goal in 2023

Thuli Phogolo is one of the celebrities who went under the knife to get their dream bodies in 2023

This year was all about vanity for Mzansi celebrities who have adopted the Hollywood trend of buying their body goals. Most celebrities are sculpted by the finest hands of surgeons with some travelling as far as Turkey to buy their big booty and boobies. We take a look at some of the most of the most memorable celebrity body transformations of 2023.

THULI PHONGOLO

A few months ago, actress and DJ Thuli Phongolo shared pictures and videos of her new Brazillian Butt Lift (BBL) which received mixed reactions on social media. Some tweeps were impressed by her newly acquired figure while some believed it was not necessary as she already had a body to die for.

NONKU WILLIAMS

Nonku Williams was not shy to share that she had liposuction and even shared her healing process on social media. She said at the time that she was fixing some of her body 'stubborn' area and got snatched. In one of her posts, she wrote: "So ya all know lately I have been on my transformation journey of living good, feeling and getting snatched" With her new booty, she sure is snatched.

DJ ZINHLE

Though she squashed boob job rumours about getting a boob job, source close to her confirmed to ZiMoja that the DJ and mother of two had breast lift augmentation. The source added that Zinhle had been contemplating going under the knife for a while, but she was waiting for Asante to stop nursing. Reponding to the rumours, Zinhle said: "Ngithe ngiwathandazele" loosely translated "I prayed for them and she included the laughing emoji.

SITHELO SHOZI

The socialite and DJ was never shy to share that she has had a body transformation. In her Instagram stories, Sithelo shared the before and after pictures after she was discharged from a clinic in Istanbul, Turkey. The mother of three said the surgery was the best reward she could ever give herself. "I wish we'd retract the surgery stigma we seem to pass on. There's absolutely nothing wrong with giving yourself a makeover, it's each to their own when it comes to such after three children. This was the best decision and best reward I could've given myself.' she wrote on her socials.
