Gospel heavyweight, Solly Moholo, remains in a critical condition after falling ill in Botswana last month.
Solomon Majafela Molokoane, who was promoting his upcoming album when fell sick in Botswana and admitted to hospital in the neighbouring country . He was transferred to a South African hospital where doctors diagnosed him with a stroke and multiple organ failure.
MEDICAL BILL BALLOONING
According to a statement by the family this necessitated immediate and extensive medical intervention, including brain surgery.
He was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and his family and management continue to ask for help through donations as medical costs for his treatment have ballooned to R700 000.
His management team said "Given the substantial nature of these expenses, the Molokoane family is urgently seeking financial support from the public at large as well as his associates and/or supporters to assist on covering of his medical costs. Your financial support during this challenging time would be greatly appreciated and will significantly aid the Molokoane family in managing the financial burden associated with Solly Moholo's treatment to ensure his speedy recovery."
