Gospel singer Kenny Makweng is fighting for his life in hospital after he was attacked by stroke.

He is said to have had complications in his brain that led to a stroke.

PRAYING FOR A MIRACLE

People?s Poet Mzwakhe Mbuli, who is a close associate, has asked for the nation and fellow artists to pray for Kenny to get better.

Mzwakhe said, "Prayers please. We serve the God of miracles and wonders."

A source close to the situation says his condition is dire and according to a source, doctors have warned the family to expect anything.

?At the moment the family is hoping for a miracle. They have not lost hope and they been praying,? adds the source.

CRITICAL CARE

According to the source he has been in the critical care for over a week now and not responding to medication.

When called for comment, Mzwakhe, confirmed that he is in hospital.

?Let's give his family space they going through the most difficult time - as we speak they are praying for his recovery,? he said

In bettering and empowering himself, Kenny received his BA Degree last year.
