Gospel singer fears for his life

Gospel singer Sabata fears for his life

Former Joyous celebration singer Sabata Masoka says his brother has sent hitman to kill him after he exposed him for fraudulently selling their family home. His life has taken a tragic turn as he finds himself homeless

SIBLING RIVALRY

The reason for his unfortunate situation lies in the actions of his own brother, who sold their parents? house, disregarding the concerns of his siblings. The consequences of this selfish decision have been devastating, leaving Sabata with nowhere to go.

"We grew up in, the house that was supposed to be our inheritance, but our brother sold it fraudulently without our consent. He acted alone, ignoring the fact that the house was a shared asset, and that we all had a right to it. I am currently without a home. I opened a case to address this issue, but it has not yet been resolved. Recently, I discovered that my brother sold the house. The new owners of the house informed me that they were not aware of my existence. Even the agent involved in the sale was misled, as my brother claimed to be the only one left in the family. This is not true, as I am one of several surviving family members."

HIS OWN BROTHER TRYING TO GET HIM KILLED

According to Sabata his own brother is trying to get him to get him killed after he exposed him for trying to sell the house.

Speaking to Zimoja he says he has been getting death threat sfrom people who claim to be hitmen.

?I?ve been getting calls from people who confess to be sent by my brother to kill me because am fighting him for selling our home,?he says, adding that he is not giving up, he is going to fight for the house he grew up calling home.

?I am not scared to meet my creator - my brother thinks he can bully me out just because he is knows gangsters and Inkabi- I am not scared of him or his people,? he says.

Sabata says one of the reasons why he is fighting is because the house is important to them as a family. Sabata says this week he has been followed by different dubious characters who told him to stop fighting his brother or else he is going to die. But the Ziyosulwa hitmaker says he is not scared of death. ?Death is not something I am scared of - I am willing to fight him until the end.?

NOT SCARED OF DEATH

Sabata says as a family they made a decision to never sell their parents? home because it?s where they host and conduct family events - like thanksgiving.

?We host important family events in that house. Everything has to be done there. He is just driven by greed and does not care about our family history,? he concludes
