Comedian and gamer Mongezi "Tol A$$ Mo" Mahlangu recently announced his separation from his wife and the mother of his children, Mome Nale. He vowed that he would never date or marry another black woman. after being accused of rape by model Lerato Moloi while on a work trip in the Western Cape. Two years after a long trial, Tol A$$ Mo was vindicated and acquitted of all charges levelled against him by the court of law. The court found Lerato to have been a ’dishonest and unreliable’ witness. In a statement by his legal team, he revealed that he was found not guilty by a court of law. Speaking about the experience, he expressed how he now feared black women and due to this and other reasons, he and wife Mome were headed for divorce. However, the funnyman was recently spotted with a black woman alleged to be his new lover.
THE MYSTERY WOMAN
Recent pictures that have resurfaced on social media show Tol A$$ Mo in a car and kissing a voluptuous black woman known to ZiMoja as Kat, real name Manthatisi Tlhakoane. Kat works at one of Johannesburg’s prestigious and upmarket hotel apartments in Sandton as an agent, where she also resides. Speaking to ZiMoja, Kat did not wish to divulge the nature of her relationship with Tol A$$ Mo. "I don’t like this whole thing. I don’t like the attention I am getting," she said, denying that she leaked the pictures on social media and admitting that she doesn’t know how they got out. "I don’t know how the pictures got out in the public. I was not aware of them. We took the pictures and yes, that is me, but I did not release them. I also can’t say much on the matter." At the time of publishing, Tol A$$ Mo was not available for comment on whether he had moved on with Kat or not.
THE DIVORCE
In an interview on Waw-What A Week podcast by DJ Fresh, Toll A$$ Mo opened up about his rocky marriage after he was accused by the model of rape. Almost a year after the court verdict, Toll A$$Mo said the trauma of being accused of rape had affected his mind so much that he could no longer continue to be married to a black woman. "Currently, Mome and I are separated and we are in the process of filing for divorce." He added that they grew apart. "We went through so many challenges in our lives. I was there for her as much as she was there for me. It hurts me so much because we have reached a point where things are just not working out for the two of us. It’s me that’s walking away," he said. "I am traumatised by black women. I am traumatised to the point that I don’t want to have a black woman as a wife, again," he declared.
