It seems as if Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) leader Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi might be in hospital for more days, if not weeks to come.

This, after a hot water bottle burst while nurses were trying to keep him warm in his hospital bed. According to a video circulating,her daughter said she was concerned since her father is diabetic and healing might take longer as he is diabetic.

She said their fear is that with people who suffer from diabetes, it is difficult for those patients to heal, and some end up being amputated.

"We are hopeful that God will help him because he is getting better. We were with him last week Sunday and he even praised God that he was getting better.

"He raised his hand and said, 'my child I praise God for healing me'."

Her said daughter said they would not sue the hospital for their negligent behaviour.

"We are not a family that likes fight and we do not like to sue either," she said. She was also critical of the social media, saying some people were telling lies that Buthelezi was breathing through machines and hanging on by the thread.

Buthelezi was admitted at the St. Augusrine Hospital after complaining of back problems.
