The memorial service of executive producer and businessman McMillan Themba Masoka (42) who died in a car accident on Sunday is currently ongoing at the Rhema Bible Church in Bromhof, Randburg. McMillan died in the accident alongside his pregnant fianc? while travelling from KwaZulu Natal on Sunday.

In a statement, his family confirmed the news and said his passing came as a shock. "It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved son and brother, McMillan Themba Masoka," they shared. "He unfortunately met his sunset in a tragic car accident on Sunday, 7 April 2024, along the N3 in Van Reenen." He was described by his industry friends and colleagues as kind and generous.

His family said the loss was tragic and expressed gratitude for the support. "He will be fondly remembered as a dedicated enabler in business, someone who consistently extended himself to ensure the well-being of others, as well as a fond lover of his children," they said. Born in Brits, in the North West, McMillan founded Basani Cleaners and worked with various artists hosting events.
