He is being accused of gang-raping a woman along with two of his friends. Charlene Brown De Jongh has called out rapper and father Da L.E.S, real name Leslie Jonathan Mampe, and friends Sean Riley and Mouse Mabona as rapists and says the incident happened three years ago. Three weeks after Charlene Brown named and shamed the Heaven rapper. Da L.E.S has consulted his lawyers to clear his name.

NOT THE FIRST RAPE ALLEGATIONS

This is not the first time the Love & Hip Hop South Africa reality star is being accused of sexual misconduct. In 2020, his name was mentioned in a thread of accused rapists on social media. Three different accusers called the rapper out and claimed he sexually assaulted them at different times of his career. This comes after he spoke up against femicide and the brutal killing of Uyinene Mrwetyana. But Da L.E.S denied the allegation stating that he was hurt by the allegation. "Yesterday was one of the worst days of my life," he shared. "I was accused of something so unthinkable and was unable to respond (because the allegations were made by an anonymous source with no specifics)."

NOT BACKING DOWN

Charlene Brown says she is not backing down and is coming for all three men that gang-raped her three years ago.

"Punk a**es, I'm coming after you. Bloody rapists. Those that gang raped me, special lightning special for you," she says. "Sean Riley, your time has come. I checkmated you three years ago. Pantsi Stelle Bosch Mafia Pantsi, a few personal F Yous. F**K you Da L.E.S. Mouse Mabona and Gang," she wrote in a series of social media posts.

DENYING THE RAPE

In a statement sent by his lawyers, Da L.E.S denies ever raping Charlene Brown and claims that she is falsely accused him. "The allegations made by Charlene Brown De Jongh have no foundation and are defamatory, hurtful, and wrongful. These were intended to humiliate Da L.E.S and undermine his good reputation." The statement continues to say that as a public figure, his income is derived from his music and that the allegations made by Charlene Brown were clearly calculated slander to humiliate and defame him. "Da L.E.S categorically denies all the spurious and unfounded allegations contained in the aforesaid post." The rapper "will seek all legal remedies to ensure he maintains his innocence. A criminal case of defamation has already been instituted and is under investigation by the South African Police Services."
