Out with the old and in with the new. Eastern Cape commercial radio station Tru FM has revealed a new line-up that will start in the new radio season on 1 April 2025.
CHANGES
In their new mandate, they said they aim to deliver dynamic content that engages their youth audience. Apostle Bathandwa "MamK' Kwatshwa will be making a full transition to the sister station, Umhlobo Wenene FM. Well-loved DJ Anda Nkatu hangs up his Tru Fm microphone after serving listeners for over 19 years, and The 411, as the show comes to an end.

Opening space for new talent, Tabita Busani has been recruited from a leading Cape Town community radio station to now anchor Hlalani Kum Mna Ndihlale Kuni. trufm has also introduced Visual Pre-Party Mix Hour on Fridays from 18:00 to 19:00, featuring various DJs. "Tru Fm's latest line-up changes reflect our commitment to staying fresh, relevant, and connected to our audience," Loyiso Bala, Business Manager for EC Combo, said. "With a mix of familiar favourites and exciting new talent, we're elevating our content to match the lifestyle of our listeners,"' the station said in a statement.
