She is a pastor's kid, a controversial one at that. But, Cyan Boujee exudes calm and confidence, among all the controversial headlines. Real name, Honour Zuma, Cyan at 23, has already had two Brazilian Butt Lifts and liposuction and plans to have a third one at the beginning of May.

"I'm too lazy and too famous not to work out," she chuckles. "Honestly, I'm lazy to go to the gym, but I long for the close thing to perfection." She says she knows her strengths and weaknesses and won't sugarcoat anything. "It is what it is. I don't like lying to myself. I'm getting it on the first week of May. It might be my last, who knows?" she adds. "I just want to try everything that makes me happy. I don't care much about opinions and judgements. I do what makes me happy. I don't want to make it a norm, it might be my last one."

She was introduced to mainstream showbiz when she had a YouTube channel with her ex-lover, and since then, her numbers have grown. "I have no regrets. I was born for this. I am where I am for a reason. I have had failed relationships, but this one is for keeps," she believes. She is currently dating a faceless and nameless guy whom she sometimes posts on her social media. "My boyfriend is everything to me. We were friends for two years before we started dating, and we love each other." she says. She adds that her boyfriend works as a manager for a family business, but he is interested in the entertainment industry. "He wants to be famous so bad, but he wants to do it for himself and not let me help him. I respect that. He wants to tell stories of how he also, like me, made it from nothing," Cyan adds.

She loves love but says she is done with making friends. She has had many friendships that crumbled publicly. She was once friends with Tik Toker Seemah, but that "ended in tears" according to her. "I am done with friends, I don't want friends and I don't have them. People have done me dirty, and I am ok on my own."

She says what brings her joy is her relationship with her parents. "Man, it has grown," she smiles. "My game changer is me having a better relationship with my parents. Being independent helps. When they saw that car and apartment, they realised I mean business. That is my biggest achievement." On her birthday, she flew her family out on holiday. "It was the first time, they flew. Our relationship is peaceful. At home, they don't know me to twerk and wear miniskirts, I am just a hard-working kid." Even when she makes headlines, she calls her parents first. "I have a friendship with them. I don't want them to hear from other people."

CRITICS

She doesn't care about criticism from people on social media anymore. "What is that? Who cares about that. " When a video of her dancing on stage and a piece of tissue fell out from her groin, and when her sex tape was leaked, Cyan admits that was dehumanising, but she talked herself out of it. "I won't lie, I'm human, I hurt, but after one day of sadness, I get out of it. After that tissue incident, there were probably four other incidences after that." This year, she plans to release music for fun. "I make music for fun. There is a lot of pressure from people wanting me to release. But I will, and I will sing because I can. I grew up at the church," she says. "I am taking my time though. As an Amapiano DJ, I want to release a different genre to what people expect." Cyan says she is more into beauty and skincare. "I love doing my makeup, fashion and beauty. So, I will go in that direction."  She also has her own clothing brand, Push By Cyan Boujee. "Music is five percent. I want to build an empire. But I will share everything in due time. I can't reveal everything as yet."
