It has been more than two months since the passing of rapper Costantinos Tsobanoglou, known to his fanbase as Costa Titch. The rapper died at 28 years old after collapsing while performing at Ultra Music Festival at Expo Centre in Johannesburg on 11 March 2023. Costa's mom, Lara Langveld, has been adamant that she will not rest until she has answers about his death.
LOOKING FOR ANSWERS
Not long after his passing, the mother of the Big Flexa rapper said, she promised to get to the bottom of how her son died. "The National Health Laboratory Services can take months or even years to finalise toxicology tests," she vented on the late rapper's social media. "This means I am not the only mother in South Africa that has to wait for answers," she adds. "It also means if anyone did poison my son, they could get away with murder. I'm pleading for help to get answers as even the police cannot do anything without these medical results."
HIS FAMILY
After his family announced his passing, they thanked emergency responders and all those present during his last hours on this earth. "As a family, we are faced with a difficult time as we try to make sense of what has befallen us and ask that we be afforded the time and space to gather ourselves," they shared in a statement.
