For his great influence and international footprint, Black Coffee got invited to give a lecture at the prestigious Harvard University, alongside Harvard Business School professor, an expert on the business of entertainment, media, and sports and author, Anita Elberse. He labelled the experience as humbling. "What a humbling experience," he said.

A few weeks ago, the South African DJ and producer became the first to host and sell out an event at Madison Square on Saturday. "Congratulations to Black Coffee for being the first South African DJ to perform at Madison Square Garden in New York City, USA, to a sold-out show this past Saturday. South African artists continue to distinguish themselves and promote our talents on the global stage. We thank you for flying the national flag," said the president.
