This week, she went on an Instagram live wearing lace undies and a swimsuit top with a man next to her. Her fans suspected she might be dating the guy, as they were cosy. She confirmed to ZiMoja that he was just a friend. "Bayasangana (they are mad), I'm not dating him. We are friends and he is gay.' Babes said she is not yet ready to date. "I was married to Mampintsha; he was my husband; I can't just date for the sake of dating. There are certain things I need to do and announce to my family before that,' she said.

It is almost two years since Mampintsha died and Babes Wodumo was rumoured to have been dating former Amaroto group member Sabelo Zuma. But according to a friend, that ended abruptly. "It did not last,' the friend told ZiMoja. "He had multiple girls, so that was never going to work. Babes is a loyal hun.' Babes denied dating Zuma. "He is my brother that one. People will always have something to say about me; I am used to it. I'm a star," she bragged. Babes Wodumo is still working on her comeback into the music industry.
