Earlier this year, rapper Cassper Nyovest spoke openly on Mpoomy Ledwaba's The Wisdom & Wellness Podcast about cheating on the mother of his child, Thobeka Majozi. At the time, the rapper said that he was addicted to sex. The two have since separated and he went on to marry Pulane Mojaki. Today, Thobeka is celebrating her birthday on a bittersweet note.

GRATITUDE

Thobeka said this birthday hits differently. "The last few years have been something and looking back now, I'm filled with gratitude. Who would've thought I'd be here? Not in pieces but in peace. The tears that were once in silence are now from laughing out loud. I'm actually in awe of the goodness of God,' he said. She went on to share how grateful she is for the tough lessons.

She revealed that at only eight months old, her son was diagnosed with cancer. "An entirely different world. I always stood for protection and privacy. Trying to maintain "the world,' and my world was a marathon on its own. I lived in an oncology hospital for two years with my son as he underwent chemotherapy and life-threatening surgeries, in the depths of fighting cancer,' she said.

INFIDELITY

While she was trying to work on her baby's health, her relationship with Cassper failed. "I was hit with a curve ball of infidelity. The woman knew me, my son's condition and made no mistake of flaunting their relationship,' she said. "After finding out, he ended it with her and tried to make amends with me. I couldn't trust someone who could hurt me at my lowest or allow another woman to disrespect his woman. Considering everything we had been through, it was more of the timing than the infidelity. He later married her,' Thobeka added. "In between home discharges and a new project, I started. I had to stop my life, put aside my own emotions and show up for my baby. At the time, his health was more important than my heart. One thing we will do is enjoy the world. Faith and family were the remedy to everything. Both families understood the mandate, living and loving is what we stand on.' She said it was her faith that kept her going.

HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEART

Cassper's new wife, Pulane, is now a housewife, as the rapper asked her to leave her job. She said she met him in school and he had a crush on her since Grade 7. She added they have been dating on and off since 2018. Cassper's team said he would not be commenting.
