Model Rosette Ncwana is being accused by Ananda Medical and Aesthetics clinic owner, Renisha Jimmy, for defamation. This is after the media personality Rosette Ncwana accused the owner of not having the qualifications to run the clinic and has allegedly not been paying staff and service providers.
CUTTING TIES
Rosetta recently announced that she cut ties with Ananda Aesthetics and its owner. "Recent revelations about Ananda Aesthetics' business practices have deeply dismayed me, leading to this difficult course of action," she said. "I regret to disclose that Renisha Jimmy has failed to meet financial obligations to numerous individuals who have availed services or purchased products from Ananda Aesthetics, including multiple investors, myself, included." Rosette said that this unfortunate situation has shattered the trust and commitment as she invested in the business. "Despite my active involvement, I remained unaware of the distressing events that unfolded under my nose," she added.

THE IMPACT
Rosette had been working with the clinic as an ambassador for a few years before deciding to join the business as a partner. She said she has uncovered that Renisha lacks the qualifications essential for operating an aesthetic clinic. "Her lack of expertise has resulted in harm to several patients due to improper product administration, which is utterly unacceptable." she said, adding that, this has escalated into a legal matter and the authorities have been informed to address these grave concerns. She also appealed to anyone who has been impacted by the actions of the clinic and its owner to come forward and share their experiences. "Your input is crucial in bringing this matter to light and seeking appropriate redress." Rosette said she understands the profound impact this will have on everyone involved and that she is committed to assisting in any way possible. She confirmed to ZiMoja that she and other people opened a case, and the matter is being investigated, so she cannot divulge too much. "We were ambassadors for the business for a very long time before we decided to be business partners. I invested a lot of money in the business and so did many other people. She owes me money. I trusted her, and I didn't do a thorough background check and investigation before getting into business and now we are here. The matter is being handled by the law, she has six summonses and we will allow it to take its course."
LEGAL ACTION
Renisha posted on social media that she has taken legal action against the run-way model. "Please be advised that as a consequence of the criminal actions of Rosette Ncwana, the business will be closed for a day or two as the police are conducting investigations," she said. "Furthermore, be advised that formal criminal charges have been laid against her and we are liaising with senior police officials." Ananda apologised for the inconvenience and disruption to the services offered. "We plead, for your understanding and all clients inconvenienced will be rescheduled." Speaking to ZiMoja, Renisha said she needs to consult with a lawyer before discussing the matter in detail.
