Actresses Didintle Khunou is amongst new faces who will be joining Generations: The Legacy. The talented actress was recently spotted around the production office of the popular TV show in Auckland Park. Khunou, who is known for her outstanding performances in various TV shows and movies, has garnered a significant fan following in a short span of time.
SHE WAS SPOTTED THE SOAPIE OFFICES
Highly place sources close to her confirm that she has been visiting SABC where she has meetings with her future bosses. The source close to her says the TV star has only shared the good news with her family and close friends. According to another source, she was approached by producers and was given an offer she couldn't resist. The source says few cast and crew members are aware of her highly anticipated arrival at the show. "Things were conducted hush hush, even their meeting was conducted in the private room." ZiMoja sources spotted the 31-year-old at the SABC TV section with one the Generations producers. "They were finalising small details of her contract, even her soon to be bosses are eagerly waiting to see her on the soapie," adds the source. According to the source there are new upcoming and old faces that are going to be joining the soapie. According to the source the soapie is going through a revamp and will be introducing interesting characters and a team of exciting writers. "They have invested in a team of exciting and young creatives to revive the soapie, and she is one of the new faces who will be playing one of the lead roles," adds the source.
HER SHOT TO FAME
She made her television acting debut in 2016, in the recurring role of Modiehi in the SABC2 drama series, Mamello. She returned to the role for Season 3 in 2017. Generations PR team refused to comment citing that there will be more exciting things to come. "We have nothing to comment but viewers can stay tuned, big things are coming up," Khunou could not be reached for comment as her phone rang unanswered.
