Singer and songwriter Langa Mavuso is relieved after his mom was found following a gruelling hijacking and kidnapping that took place in the south of Johannesburg yesterday. The singer took to X (formerly twitter) this morning around 4am to ask where his mother was.
WHERE IS MY MOM? ?

In another post, he pleaded with anyone who might have witnessed a hijacking in Mondeor to contact him. "My mother was hijacked, taken against her will, violated and dumped in an unfamiliar place for her car, cell phones and laptops and as we pleaded for help this is a response we get. A paid protection service failed us. We must now respond to this,' Langa said. "If you witnessed a hijacking in the Mondeor area yesterday in the afternoon, please DM me. My mom and her car were last located in the Power Park area around 7pm last night." Langa also said he blocked all his mother's bank accounts to avoid highjackers from stealing from her.
The grateful singer later said that his mother was found after a few hours in Naturena. "God has been kind to us. I would never wish such an experience on anyone. Siyabonga imithandazo(We are grateful for the prayers). Thank you, Lord,' he said, adding, "We've just found her in Naturena with no help of Tracker SA after a sleepless night. Thank you for your prayers, raising awareness, assistance and calls. Grateful.'
